USED Squier Standard HSS Stratocaster, Red
The Squier Standard HSS Stratocaster Electric Guitar features the heavy tone of a high-output humbucking pickup in the bridge position, with classic single-coil pickups in the neck and middle positions. The Stratocaster HSS sports a '70s big headstock, a slim fast-action neck profile, 22 frets for enhanced playability, and chrome hardware. Case sold separately.
This used guitar is set up with fresh strings and an adjusted neck for great playability, but we've priced it aggressively because it does have some moderate cosmetic wear. Please take a look at the photos for a sample of the consistent clear-coat swirls and dings present on the body, pickguard, and headstock. There is a small stress crack in the paint of the neck pocket, and some of the screws are a bit rusty. The three-ply pickguard is lifting slightly near the middle pickup.
There is almost no playwear on the frets, the fingerboard is in excellent shape, and the tuning machines hold nicely.
Electronically it checks out just fine, and the pickups sound really good -- since lots of our local customers prefer a deal we stopped refurbishing this particular guitar when we had a solid platform that we could price under $200 with a full setup. Cosmetically it's a C+, but playability and tone are an A.
