Zebrawood Body

This stunning concert ukulele features an exotic zebrawood body, which offers a distinctive appearance and high-quality tone. Zebrawood is very similar to Indian rosewood and delivers a well-defined bass and treble, along with excellent projection. A matching zebrawood headstock is also included, along with delicate Mother of Pearl binding and rosette.

Concert Size

The ukulele originates from Hawaii, and has made its way into both classic and pop music over the last few decades. The concert size is slightly bigger than its traditional soprano siblings and delivers a rich, full sound with excellent projection. Its comfortable contours will accommodate any level of player, and is ideal for traveling musicians.

Classic Aquila Strings

The Snail Zebrawood Series Tenor Ukulele features a set of Aquila strings, which are made in Italy and manufactured from a special Nylgut material. Nylgut is a synthetic material that combines characteristics of both nylon and gut strings, producing a string that is easy to play with a warm tone.

Snail ukuleles have been one of the best surprises that we have come across. They make consistently great ukes that really sound, play and look great. We have already added a couple to our family collection. The neck on the Snails is nice and thin and very fast. The strings are also super smooth and it's just as easy to play stuff on the 12th fret as it is the 1st through 3rd.  You won't be disappointed.
