The mic offers a cardioid polar pattern, which minimizes off-axis pickup to help keep the room noise out of the recording. This is a condenser microphone with a high sensitivity to sound. It can also withstand a maximum SPL of 124 dB, making it suitable for loud sound sources. A tripod mic stand, a high-grade isolating shockmount, an XLR cable, and a foam windscreen are all included.
