Condition:
Used, vintage good overall condition with normal playwear consistent with age and use. There is stand rash on either side of the neck at the nut and minor dings on the back lower bout, but no breaks, cracks, or repairs.
Frets 1 through 9 show noticeable play wear, including visible divots in the typical B and G string positions. The guitar does not fret out, plays cleanly up the neck, and is currently very playable with a comfortable setup. That said, a fret crown or eventual refret may be needed at some point in the coming years, depending on player preference and playing style.
Weighs in at 10.3 lbs, which is slightly under average for a Les Paul Custom and feels well-balanced on a strap.
This is a true player’s Custom — articulate, sustaining, and dripping with Les Paul authority. Not a case queen, but a guitar with real history, tone, and mojo from one of Gibson’s best production eras.
