For sale this Yamaha Student Viola Outfit Model is a Model VA5. This instrument is used  and is fully hand carved. The wood in the instrument is seasoned and aged for 5+ years before being made. The top is solid spruce and the back is maple. All the wood is finished with an oil varnish. Inlaid purfling. The Yamaha Student Viola has solid ebony fittings, which include the Guarneri style chin rest, end button, and standard style pegs. The fingerboard is also ebony. The viola has a Wittner tailpiece with fine tuners for each string. It is strung with D’Addario Helicore strings which are known for their warm, mellow tone. The wider body of this viola gives the instrument a larger tone!

The Yamaha Student Viola Outfit comes with a case and a bow. The case is dart shaped and cloth covered. It comes with backpack style straps.
