This 1993 Gibson Les Paul Custom in Alpine White comes straight out of the Good Wood Era and has aged into that perfect cream-yellow hue players and collectors crave. Built in Nashville during one of Gibson’s most respected production periods, this one delivers everything a real Custom should — weight, punch, sustain, and that unmistakable swagger. It’s been played, not pampered, but it’s all original and full of life.

Key Features:

  • Built in Nashville, USA (1993) — from Gibson’s Good Wood Era of exceptional craftsmanship

  • Solid mahogany body (no weight relief) with a 2-piece maple top for classic Les Paul depth and bite

  • Mahogany neck, set-in construction, with a medium C profile that feels smooth and broken-in

  • Bound ebony fingerboard with bold mother-of-pearl block inlays — the unmistakable Custom look and feel

  • Gibson USA 490R & 498T humbuckers — hot, balanced, and full of midrange authority

  • CTS pot codes 1379302, dating it to the second week of January 1993

  • Nitrocellulose lacquer finish — Alpine White now fading beautifully to vintage cream

  • Gold hardware with honest wear, Grover Rotomatic tuners, Tune-o-Matic bridge, and Stopbar tailpiece

  • Original brown Gibson hard shell case and factory warranty card included

Condition:

Used, vintage good overall with normal playwear for its age. There’s stand rash on either side of the neck at the nut and minor dings on the back lower bout, but no breaks, cracks, or repairs. Frets are in great shape, the setup is dialed in, and it plays like home — 10.3 lbs, which is slightly under average for a Custom and perfectly balanced on a strap.

This is one of those guitars that feels alive — articulate, sustaining, and full of that unmistakable Les Paul Custom authority. A true “player’s Custom” from a revered production window, with tone and mojo to spare.
