Fiberglass is a very durable and resilient material. It's also more temperature and humidity-resistant than wooden bows, which is especially relevant in Georgia where we have four seasons in a week, making this bow much easier to care for. Fiberglass also doesn't chip or break as easily as wooden bows.

This Oxford fiberglass viola bow is made of black fiberglass with wire grip, fully-lined ebony frog with Parisian eye, and a three-part button.  Compare to Howard Core, Glasser, and Yamaha bows at a better value.
