The e-Sax Alto Saxophone Practice Mute System II is a purpose-built enclosure that lets sax players practice with a substantial reduction in outside volume while still playing the instrument normally inside the case. It is especially useful for apartments, dorms, late-night practice, backstage warmups, or anywhere full-volume alto sax practice would be a problem.

Key Features

  • Enclosed practice system surrounds the alto saxophone and reduces the sound escaping into the room by approximately 25 dB.

  • Built-in pickup system lets the player monitor the saxophone through headphones while practicing inside the enclosure.

  • Three digital reverb settings add adjustable ambience to the monitored sound.

  • Auxiliary input and line output allow play-along audio to be connected and the saxophone signal to be sent to recording equipment or a sound system.

  • Battery-powered operation uses two AAA batteries, eliminating the need for an external power supply.

A genuinely useful practice solution for alto sax players who need to keep the volume down without giving up normal embouchure, fingering, or playing technique.

Cool gear at a great price, backed by our meticulous care.
