USED Ibanez RG852MPB Prestige Series 8-String Electric Guitar, Ghost Fleet Blue Burst w/ Case

The Ibanez RG852MPB Prestige is a Japanese-made 8-string built for technical players who want extended range, a fast neck, and the precise feel of Ibanez’s Prestige line. This one has seen multiple tours and wears the scars to prove it, but it also carries a major upgrade with a set of Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi signature pickups valued around $300.

Key Features

• 27-inch scale length gives the low strings the tension and definition needed for extended-range tunings while retaining a fast, responsive feel.

• Birdseye maple fingerboard combines a striking figuring pattern with 24 jumbo frets and Prestige fret-edge treatment for exceptionally smooth playability.

• Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi pickups replace the original DiMarzio PAF 8 set and provide a modern, articulate extended-range voice with multiple tonal options.

• Poplar burl top over basswood gives the Ghost Fleet Blue Burst finish its dramatic figuring while keeping the familiar balanced response of an RG.

• Original Prestige hardshell case is included for proper protection and transport.

Condition

D condition cosmetically with extensive honest play wear from multiple tours. The guitar has numerous dings, finish wear, and marks that give it a naturally relic-looking appearance rather than the presentation of a clean collector piece. The upgraded Fishman Fluence Tosin Abasi pickups are a substantial functional upgrade, and the original Prestige hardshell case is included.

A killer player-grade Prestige for someone who wants a seriously fast Japanese-made 8-string, premium extended-range pickups, and genuine road-worn character without worrying about putting the first ding in it.
