USED JBL PRX818XLFW 18" Powered Subwoofer

The JBL PRX818XLFW is a high-output 18-inch powered subwoofer built for live sound, DJs, bands, and portable PA systems that need substantially more low-frequency extension than full-range speakers can provide on their own. This one has clearly seen real gig use, but it is tested, working properly, and still has plenty of practical life left in it.

Key Features

• 18-inch low-frequency driver provides the deep bass extension needed for kick drum, bass guitar, electronic music, and full-range PA reinforcement.

• Built-in Class-D amplification keeps the system self-powered, eliminating the need for a separate rackmount power amp.

• Onboard DSP processing provides system control and adjustment for integrating the subwoofer with powered tops or a larger PA.

• Network-based control capability allows compatible PRX800-series system parameters to be adjusted remotely.

• Professional audio connections make it suitable for integration with mixers, PA processors, and other live-sound equipment.

Condition

C condition and definitely player grade. This subwoofer has been gigged and shows noticeable cosmetic wear. The front grille has been repainted, and the paintwork is not particularly clean up close, although it is much less noticeable from about five feet away. The subwoofer has been tested and is working properly. For best results, it should be used with a mixer or appropriate system controller so its level and crossover relationship with the rest of the PA can be properly managed.
