USED Neumann TLM 107 Large-diaphragm Condenser Microphone, Black
The Neumann TLM 107 is a versatile, German-made large-diaphragm condenser microphone designed for detailed, natural recordings of vocals, acoustic instruments, piano, percussion, and more. Its five selectable polar patterns and exceptionally low self-noise make it equally useful as a primary vocal microphone or an all-around studio workhorse. Neumann's transformerless circuitry delivers a clean, open sound with excellent transient response and plenty of headroom.
Key Features
-
Five selectable polar patterns including omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, hypercardioid, and figure-eight, allowing precise control over how the microphone captures sound and room ambience.
-
Dual-diaphragm condenser capsule provides a balanced frequency response with subtle high-frequency presence, capturing detail without excessive coloration.
-
Selectable -6 dB and -12 dB pads accommodate loud sources such as drums, brass instruments, and guitar amplifiers, with a maximum SPL handling of 153 dB when fully attenuated.
-
40 Hz and 100 Hz low-cut filters help control rumble, handling noise, and proximity-effect buildup when recording close to a sound source.
-
Ultra-low 10 dB-A self-noise makes the TLM 107 particularly useful for quiet acoustic sources and detailed vocal recordings. Requires standard 48V phantom power.
Condition
B+ condition, bordering on A. This black TLM 107 is exceptionally clean with virtually no visible signs of use. Fully tested and working properly, it includes the original Neumann shock mount and box.
