The Zildjian 20-inch PANG is a distinctive effects cymbal that sits somewhere between a traditional China, crash, and ride, with a flatter edge and broad, complex wash. This particular cymbal sounds exceptionally good, with a rich spread and smooth complexity that made it one of the standout individual Chinas we auditioned.

Key Features

  • 20-inch PANG design uses a flatter profile than a conventional China, giving it a broader, smoother response with plenty of complexity.

  • Crash-and-ride versatility makes it useful for explosive accents, sustained wash, and looser ride patterns.

  • Traditional Zildjian cast-bronze character gives the cymbal a full, musical response rather than an overly harsh effects sound.

  • Complex, gorgeous wash stood out immediately in our audition, with a rich tone that opens up easily and remains musical under heavier playing.

  • No keyholing is present at the mounting hole.

Condition

PLAYER GRADE. The cymbal shows honest signs of being played but has no major flaws, cracks, or keyholing. It remains fully playable and sounds excellent.

A particularly strong choice for a drummer who wants a China-style effects cymbal with a smoother, more complex wash and enough versatility to use beyond simple accents.

Cool gear at a great price, backed by our meticulous care.
